How Hosiqo tests AI meeting assistants
Hosiqo is an independent comparison site for AI meeting assistants. This page explains exactly how we evaluate tools, how we handle pricing and ratings, how we make money, and why you can trust what you read here. We would rather show you our method than ask you to take our word for it.
Our hands-on testing policy
We evaluate AI meeting assistants on real meetings, not vendor marketing pages. Where we have completed hands-on testing, we run each tool through the same standardized set of real calls and compare the output side by side.
We buy our own subscriptions to the paid tiers we review. Vendors do not get to preview, approve, or influence our conclusions. A tool's commission rate never affects whether — or how highly — we recommend it.
Transparency note: Hosiqo is building out its hands-on testing library tool by tool. Where a tool has not yet completed our full test, we say so, and the page presents only publicly verifiable facts (features, capture method, and pricing model) — never an invented score. We never display a star rating that is not backed by real testing or verified user reviews.
What we evaluate
Transcription accuracy
How faithfully the tool captures real speech, including accents, cross-talk, and technical terms.
Capture method (bot vs bot-free)
Whether a recording bot joins the call, or capture happens on-device — a key privacy and client-experience factor.
Summary quality
Whether summaries and action items are accurate, useful, and faithful to what was actually said.
Pricing & true cost
Real plan tiers, free-tier limits, per-seat vs credit models, and hidden overage costs.
Integrations
Verified connections to the tools teams actually use — CRMs, calendars, Slack, and task managers.
Privacy & compliance
Data residency, GDPR posture, and admin controls for teams with compliance needs.
Feature verification
Every feature claim in a comparison or review is checked against the tool's current product — by using the feature ourselves where possible, or by confirming it against official documentation. If we cannot verify a capability, we do not present it as fact. Feature tables reflect what the tool actually does, not what its homepage promises.
Pricing accuracy disclaimer
AI meeting assistant pricing changes frequently — plans, free-tier limits, and credit systems all move. We record the pricing model and note when we last verified it. Always confirm the current price on the vendor's official site before you buy; the live page is the source of truth. If you spot an out-of-date price, please tell us and we will correct it.
Affiliate disclosure
Hosiqo earns affiliate commissions when you sign up for some tools through links on this site, and we accept clearly labelled sponsored placements. These relationships help fund our testing and keep Hosiqo free to use.
They do not buy a better review. Rankings are decided on merit; sponsored entries are always labelled "Sponsored" and are never allowed to change a tool's test result or position based on payment. If a tool we earn nothing from is the best choice, we say so.
How often we update
The AI meeting assistant space moves fast. We re-check pricing and features on our most-read pages regularly, retest tools when they ship major changes, and remove or flag tools that are discontinued. Reviews carry a "last reviewed" date so you always know how current the information is.
